Sunday’s sole Premier League game sees London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea lock horns at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The capital clubs are separated by 11 points in the Premier League table, with fourth-placed Tottenham leading tenth-placed Chelsea.

While Spurs are looking to pick up their fourth win in five Premier League outings, Chelsea will be hoping to end a five-game winless run across all competitions this weekend.

Tottenham head into Sunday’s showdown on the back of a 2-0 victory over West Ham United, thanks to goals from Emerson Royal and Son Heung-min.

Spurs have now won three of their past four Premier League games, with 1-0 victories over Fulham and Manchester City preceding a 4-1 defeat to Leicester City.

It is worth noting that Antonio Conte’s side have not drawn any of their past eight league outings, recording four wins and four losses during that period.

With the club’s all-time leading scorer, Harry Kane, sitting on 17 Premier League goals for the season, Spurs will be confident of outscoring Chelsea.

As for the Blues, they have failed to win any of their last five matches – registering three straight draws before suffering back-to-back defeats against Borussia Dortmund and Southampton.

When you look at the bigger picture, Chelsea have only managed to win one of their previous 10 games across all competitions.

To make matters worse for Graham Potter, Chelsea have claimed just two victories across their last 14 encounters – leaving them in mid-table obscurity.

Given that each of Chelsea’s past six matches have produced under 2.5 goals, we are likely to see a low-scoring clash on Sunday.

Head-to-head: Chelsea are unbeaten in their last eight league matches against Tottenham, with the Blues claiming six wins during that period.

That said, Spurs are in far better form than Chelsea right now, so Potter’s side are not expected to enhance their solid recent record in the fixture.

Team news: Tottenham will be without the injured quartet of Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur this weekend.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s extensive injury list contains Armando Broja, Cesar Azpilicueta, Christian Pulisic, N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy.

Regardless of Chelsea’s recent record against Tottenham, Potter’s men look set to suffer a third successive defeat this weekend.

Forebet predicts that Tottenham will claim a low-scoring victory over Chelsea, while a clean sheet is also on the cards for the hosts.
