Arsenal will be looking to enhance their Premier League title ambitions when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks to a 4-2 victory over Aston Villa last weekend, the Gunners find themselves two points clear of second-placed Manchester City with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, the Foxes occupy 14th place in the table – four points outside the relegation zone and 30 points behind Arsenal.

Leicester head into Saturday’s clash on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United, meaning they have lost five of their eight league matches since the World Cup.

When you look at the bigger picture, Brendan Rodgers’ side have lost 13 of their 23 Premier League games this season, while only bottom club Southampton have suffered more defeats.

Given that Leicester have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight league outings, it is no surprise that they have the second-worst defensive record in the division.

If they carry on the way they’re going, Leicester could find themselves edging closer to the bottom three in the coming weeks.

As for Arsenal, they came from behind on two occasions to get the better of Aston Villa last weekend, exhibiting their resilience as title challengers.

Having taken a solitary point from games against Everton, Brentford and Man City at the beginning of the month, the Gunners looked destined to surrender top spot in the table.

However, Mikel Arteta’s men returned to winning ways last time out, clinching their 17th Premier League victory of the campaign.

Boasting the second-best offensive record and the second-best defensive record in the division, Arsenal have set the foundations for a genuine title charge this term.

Head-to-head: Arsenal have won each of their last four Premier League matches against Leicester, scoring over 1.5 goals on all four occasions.

On top of that, the Foxes have only managed to win four of their last 24 meetings with the Gunners across all competitions.

Team news: Leicester are still without the injured defensive trio of James Justin, Jonny Evans and Ryan Bertrand.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus and Mohamed Elneny remain sidelined for the Gunners, while Thomas Partey is a doubt for Saturday, meaning Jorginho could keep his place in the starting XI.

When you couple the current gulf between these two sides with Leicester’s poor recent record in this fixture, all the signs point towards an away win here.

Forebet predicts that Arsenal will claim all three points at the King Power Stadium, scoring over 2.5 goals on their way to victory.
