On Thursday night, Rennes and Shakhtar Donetsk go head-to-head in the Europa League's last 32 second leg after the first leg finished 2-1 to the visitors.

The French team have been going through a poor run of form of late, as the first-leg defeat in this tie was their third straight loss in all competitions, while Les Rennais conceded at least two goals for the third consecutive game in the encounter, too.

However, the home team bounced back from that poor run of form at the weekend, as Bruno Genesio’s team recorded a 2-0 home win over Clermont.
