Everton also picked up one point in their last six games. The Toffees are 19th in the division and are only off the bottom of the table due to goal difference. Frank Lampard has shown an inability to get points this season after rescuing the team from relegation last term.
The Merseyside club is coming off a 2-1 loss to last-place Southampton on matchday 19. Everton led 1-0 after 39 minutes but conceded twice after halftime to lose the match. Fans had a protest after the match causing even more of a split between the club and its supporters.
West Ham are on a three-game losing streak ahead of Saturday’s six-point match. The Hammers have picked up just 10 points from 27 points on offer at the London Stadium in 2022-23. West Ham struggle to score goals as only nine were scored in their nine league home games.
Everton are winless in five straight road games in the league. Just seven points from 27 points on offer were picked up by Everton away from Goodison Park. Goals are a struggle for Everton on the road, as they were outscored 12-6.
The teams split the last six head-to-head matches with three wins apiece. Everton won earlier this season at Goodison Park thanks to a Neal Maupay goal. The last two matches between these teams were won by the home team.
West Ham could unveil their newest signing. The club signed striker Danny Ings from Aston Villa on Thursday for £15 million. He could go straight into the starting XI as striker Gianluca Scmacca is ruled out with a knee injury.
Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola is a major doubt due to a pelvis injury. Forward Maxwel Cornet is out of action due to a calf injury.
Lampard will be without at least four players, as Andros Townsend, Michael Keane, James Garner, and Nathan Patterson are ruled out with injuries.
The home team won the last two games between these teams. West Ham should continue the trend with a 2-0 victory over Everton. The Toffees' poor away form should doom them, and a defeat could finally cost Lampard his job.
