The league leaders will be aiming to get back into the win column after their first loss of the Serie A season when Napoli heads to the Luigi Ferraris Stadium to meet with a Sampdoria team still searching for any sort of form that could rocket them out of the relegation zone.
Sampdoria have struggled for form all campaign long but they are now coming into this one off the back of a rare win that sees them close the gap to five points on Spezia in their race to get out of the bottom three.
Manolo Gabbiadini was once again here for Sampdoria in the last outing, as Tommasso Augello also scored for the club in a 2-1 win over Sassuolo.
Domenico Berardi did score from the penalty spot, but after netting two goals in three minutes during the first half Sampdoria ran out comfortable winners.
It was, however, just the second win of the season for the 18th-placed side and in scoring twice that day, Sampdoria have still only managed to bag eight goals across the Serie A season and lost 11 times too.
Their only other win came in a trip to fellow strugglers Cremonese, as Omar Colley netted with 12 minutes to go in that game.
As for Napoli, they are heading into this after their first loss in Serie A. In fact, after losing to Villarreal and Lille in friendlies where they let in three goals and four goals, respectively, they are technically on a three-game losing run.

Napoli have lost just twice all season long, however, as Liverpool defeated them in the Champions League at Anfield.
