On Wednesday afternoon, two Ligue One strugglers meet as Ajaccio hosts Angers at the Stade François Coty.
The home team is currently situated in 18th place in the French top-flight table. However, Olivier Pantaloni’s team is just a point from safety.

There are signs that things are improving for Ajaccio, as they have taken four points from their previous six games in Ligue One.
One major concern for the home side is the fact that they have conceded at least two goals in three of their last four matches in the French top flight.
Another worry of late has been their recent defensive record, as Ajaccio have lost five of their last six matches on home soil.
However, a 4-2 victory over Strasbourg last time out ended a five-game losing streak on home soil, although it did see them concede at least two goals for the third straight home league match.
The visitors are rock bottom of the French top flight table, five points from the safety of 16th place in the table. Angers head into this clash on the back of a woeful recent run of league form, as they have suffered seven straight league defeats.
The visitor's main concern of late has been conceding too many goals, as Angers have conceded at least two goals in six of their last seven league matches.
That recent defensive record may not be much of a surprise, as the visitors have the worst defensive record in the French top flight.
Angers have not fared well on their travels of late either in Ligue One, winning just one of their previous 17 away games in the French top flight while losing five of their last six away matches.
Forebet predicts that Ajaccio will record what could be a vital victory in a low-scoring game to possibly move out of the relegation zone.
