Third meets with fourth in the Chinese Super League this Thursday as Zhejiang Professional play hosts to Chengdu Rongcheng at the Yellow Dragon Sports Center with the winner set to put down their marker on third place towards the end of the season.
All attention for these two clubs now falls on getting into third at the end of this campaign with this spot set to secure a place in the AFC Champions League qualifiers.
There is no mathematical possibility of getting into first for either side when you also take into account how the league leaders have won 23 of the 31 games. Either side could get into second, but in truth, it doesn't look as if any side is going to catch Shanding Luneng.

In fact, you have to go all the way back to the start of October to see their last loss in all competitions. On the other hand, the form from Zhejiang has been almost as good and there is not much to put against these two sides right now.
