Third will meet with 16th in the Segunda Division this weekend as Tenerife and Deportivo Alavés Meet at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López with 14 points separating the two sides already after defeats each recently.
Tenerife lost in a friendly with Brondby last weekend, as they were smashed 4-0 by the Danish side. However, although this meant very little, with them losing to Oviedo and Las Palmas in their past two games, the club have now not tasted victory since beating Huesca in mid-November.

Tenerife did also beat Lealtad in the Copa del Rey first round just prior to this, and beat Burgos in the league too, as they won three in a row for the first time this season.
However, with them losing twice in a row in the Segunda Division, Tenerife was sitting 16th in the league and with just five wins on the board and eight draws. They have also drawn five other games in the Segunda Division, scoring just 17 goals in 18 games and letting in 20.
What's more, Tenerife remain only three points above the relegation zone and could be pulled right into the bottom three if they lose here and those below them win.
As for Alaves, it's been a sensational season so far for them as they look to bounce right back into La Liga following on from relegation last season. Currently, they are level on points with Burgos and Las Palmas in the top three and sit third.
Their poor defensive record of 15 goals conceded keeps them in third right now, but with only two games lost, nine won and seven other draws, the club are right in the mix for the race of the Segunda Division title.
Alaves did lose to Granada 3-1 last time out, as Xeber Alkain scored and was sent off in the first half. He now misses this game, and Alaves must improve in this one after seeing Granada have a stunning 78% of the ball last time out with them also conceding seven shots on target in that game.
Alaves did go on a run of nine games without the taste of defeat just prior to this, beating Lleida in the Copa del Rey, before a recent win over Villarreal B in the league.
Forebet predicts a win for Alaves in this one and for the game to see under 2.5 goals as they look to reach the top of the table.
