On Tuesday night, Albacete hosts Real Zaragoza at the Estadio Carlos Belmonte as both teams look to further their ambitions in the Segunda Division.
The home team is currently five points adrift of the play-off spots in the Spanish second tier after a poor recent run of form. Ruben Albes’ team has won just once in their previous seven matches in the Segunda.

Last time out, they suffered a 4-2 defeat at Mirandes. The game saw another high-scoring encounter for Albacete, as their last five league games have all produced over 2.5 goals. The fact that they have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five matches has played a big role in those recent high-scoring games.
Albacete have not been great on home soil of late, but they have lost just one of their last six home games in the Segunda Division.
The visitors are closer to the Segunda’s relegation zone than the play-off spots, as they are just three points above the danger zone.
Fran Escriba’s team are unbeaten in their last three league outings, having recorded a win and two draws. However, a 2-1 home win over Ibiza last time out ended a four-game winless run for the visitors.
One of Zaragoza's biggest issues of late has been conceding too many goals, as they have kept just one clean sheet in their previous eight matches in the Segunda Division.
Their away form hasn’t been great of late, either, as they have won just one of their previous six Segunda matches on their travels while also suffering four defeats in the poor away run.
Forebet predicts that this clash will produce a low-scoring draw, which does neither team many favours in the pursuit of their season’s objectives.
