Two sides set to challenge for the playoff spots this season in Serie B are set to meet in what is one of the biggest games of the season for both Bari and Pisa as only four points keep the two apart in the league table despite one of them being outside the playoffs.
It’s Pisa who are currently struggling to get into the top eight right now in Serie B as they are down in 10th and have only four wins on the board from the 14 fixtures played.
The club have managed to put together one of the best attacking records in Serie B, however, scoring 24 times only Reggina in second have managed to put together a better record than them in this regard.
On the other hand, Pisa are also seeing a dreadful record of 20 goals conceded from 14 games be the difference in them sitting inside the playoff spots and not, with them now losing four times and drawing the other six games.
The club returned to winning ways last time out, however, beating Ternana 3-1 in Serie B after drawing with Cagliari. On the other hand, the club have not lost in the league since losing to Reggina way back at the start of September.
This does now mean an unbeaten run of nine games in the league, but Pisa have only managed to secure four wins within this time, drawing the other five.
As for Bari, they have drawn their past few games and dropped out of the top three as a result and sit fifth in the league. Michele Mignani's men are still one of the favourites to progress into Serie A this season, however, and at the very least, a playoff spot is expected of his side.
Bari have not actually won in all competitions since beating Venezia back at the start of October away from home, losing to Ascoli and Fosinone in Serie B, while also losing to Parma in the Coppa Italia second round.
The two clubs may be in different areas of the league table right now, but it is tough to see how Pisa get the win away to Bari as the home side continues to fight for a spot in the playoffs.
It will be a close Serie B game, and Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
