Real Madrid are top of the La Liga table after 10 matches and could stretch their lead in the standings over Barcelona with a win against Sevilla on Sunday.
Sevilla are unbeaten in their last three matches under new manager Jorge Sampaoli. Los Rojiblancos are still in the wrong half of the La Liga table but improvements have been made.

Sevilla are 12th after 10 games. They are already 10 points behind the top five and qualifying for Europe at the end of the season will be very difficult.
Real Madrid took 16 points from the last six games in La Liga. They scored 14 goals and allowed just four to opponents. Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-1 in El Clasico last weekend and followed it up with a win against Elche by a score of 3-0 in midweek.
Madrid are unbeaten in four matches at the Santiago Bernabeu this season. They outscored their four opponents at home 10-4.
Sevilla took nine points from the last six games in the league. Goals are still difficult to score for Sevilla, as they tallied just seven in six games. The defence also conceded seven goals during that time period.
Los Rojiblancos are unbeaten in their last three away games in La Liga. They have taken seven points on the road overall with a zero-goal difference.
Real Madrid posted a record of 5W-1D-0L against Sevilla in the last six matches between the teams. Los Blancos have been excellent against Sevilla and will fancy another win. Real Madrid did the league double over Sevilla last term.
The match at the Bernabeu finished 2-1 for Real Madrid and the reverse match ended 3-2 between the sides, as Real Madrid won on the road.
Carlo Ancelotti has no new injury problems at Real Madrid. He will have a clean bill of health for the match. Balon d’Or winner Karim Benzema scored a goal in each of his last two matches in La Liga. Benzema has five goals in seven La Liga matches this season and is in fine form.
Sampaoli has only one player set to miss the match. Defender Kike Salas is out of action due to a suspension. Sevilla have had bad luck with injuries in recent seasons, but so far, Sampaoli has had nearly all of his most important players available.
Real Madrid should continue their excellent form versus Sevilla. Los Blancos should post a 3-2 win at full-time versus Sevilla to continue their top-of-the-table form.
