Nantes won the Coupe de France last season, marking a remarkable campaign. However, the Canaries’ highs of last term are turning into lows. Antoine Kombouare’s team is 16th in the standings and just one point above the relegation zone.

Forward Kevin Volland is a major double following an ankle injury. Forward Willem Geubbels is also considered a doubt to play the match following a muscle strain.
Nantes midfielder Samuel Moutoussamy is suspended for the fixture. His absence will leave Kombouare with a few headaches in the middle of the park. Defender Fabien Centonze has a hamstring strain and is out of action until the end of October.
