Fiorentina Could Hold the Unbeaten Juventus to a Draw in Florence

Juventus are looking to get their third win of the season and remain unbeaten in the league when they meet with Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium this weekend after another win for the serial winners of Serie A in midweek.

Dusan Vlahovic was once again the hero for the Turin side this past week after another excellent free kick was scored by the Serbian marksman.

Arkadiusz Milik would add a second for Juvetus in injury time, as the club eased past Spezia with a total of 15 shots in the game.

The result does keep Max Allegri's men in the unbeaten side of Serie A, but with this ending a two-game winless run after two draws, the club will be confident in moving forward here.

Juventus met with Roma last weekend in a 1-1 draw that saw Vlahovic score another unstoppable free kick, although an equaliser by the Rome side soon ended the game in a 1-1 draw.

The club also drew 0-0 with Sampdoria two weeks back, which does now mean they have had three clean sheets so far this season and only conceded a goal in the match with Roma.

Vlahovic is now on four goals as well, with the striker netting twice in the 2-0 win against Sassuolo on the opening weekend that saw Angel Di Maria score his first Serie A goal.

Fiorentina, however, are down in 11th ahead of this one and have now extended their winless run in Italy to three games since beating Cremonese on the opening weekend 3-2.

A 0-0 draw with Empoli and another goalless encounter with Napoli mean they have only lost one game this season, however.

The Florence side did taste that defeat in midweek as they travelled and lost to Udinese 1-0, where Fiorentina had just 44% of the ball and saw only two shots on target in an overall underwhelming display.

It does mean the club have also gone three games without scoring a goal in Serie A, and four considering they also played out a 0-0 draw with Twente in the Europa Conference League.

Forebet predicts a draw here as it does look like Fiorentina’s efforts in defence are paying off slightly with such a lack of goals going in.

Juventus also seem to struggle if it isn’t for the brilliance of Vlahovic at some point in the game. Forebet also predicts the game to see under 2.5 goals.
