It is another London Derby for these teams as Tottenham Hotspur host Fulham on Saturday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs go into matchday No. 6 in third place with four points separating them from Arsenal.

With Arsenal playing Manchester United on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford, Spurs could take a step toward the top of the table with a win and the Gunners dropping points.

Points dropped is exactly what Tottenham did in midweek as they allowed West Ham to come back from a goal down to draw 1-1. Fulham won’t be an easy win for Spurs despite the Cottagers being newly promoted.

Fulham are coming off of a hard-fought 2-1 home win against Brighton. The win followed on from a 2-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates a week ago. It was a game Fulham led 1-0 before Arsenal hit back late on.

Marco Silva has led Fulham to eight points from 15 points on offer this season. Fulham are eighth and have created a strong base to remain in the top flight come the end of the campaign.

Tottenham have dominated Fulham in recent meetings with a record of 5W-1D-0L over the course of the last six head-to-head matches. Spurs outscored Fulham 13-4 during that timeframe.

Spurs have played twice at home this season winning both matches. Tottenham have scored five times at home with just one goal conceded.

Fulham are yet to win on the road, picking up one point from six available away from Craven Cottage. Silva’s team has scored just once on the road, an Aleksandar Mitrovic goal at Arsenal, while conceding twice.

Striker Mitrovic has scored five goals in five games for Fulham this term. Unfortunately, he is four goals behind Man City’s Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot.

Harry Kane has scored four times in five games for Tottenham. Antonio Conte will aim to get forward Heung-min Son up and running in the final third this weekend. Son has zero goals after five games and just one assist.

Conte could be without influential midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur due to a concussion he suffered a week ago against Nottingham Forest. Centre-back Cristian Romero is a doubt to play due to a groin injury. Bryan Gil is a major doubt to play due to injury and Lucas Moura is ruled out.

For Silva, Harry Wilson’s knee injury is keeping him sidelined. Shane Duffy will return to the team after missing the midweek match with Brighton due to being on loan from the Seagulls. Manor Solomon is ruled out with a knee injury.

Tottenham are playing well at home and should post a slim win. Spurs will keep pace with Arsenal and Man City thanks to a 1-0 win versus Fulham.
