Wolverhampton Wanderers are in desperate need of getting a win after just three games in the league as they play hosts to the rising Newcastle United this Sunday at Molineux with Bruno Lage’s men currently winless so far.
Wolves are sitting inside the relegation zone so far after three games and all the club have to shout about right now is the narrow win over Preston North End in the EFL Cup.

Raul Jimenez scored a smart goal that day, as Adama Traore capped off his return with a stunning left-footed volley in the first half. Preston soon brought one back, but Lage will be pleased to see attacking intent from his slide after 10 shots on target.
In the Premier League, however, the Wolves boss is under serious threat. Lage went under the radar slightly last season when his side finished 10 and 20 points off the Champions League spots and with Jesse Marsch proving his worth at Leeds United, the Portuguese is potentially in line to get sacked first if things don’t change.
Wolves’ concern last season was a lack of goals with just 38 in 38 games, and with one league goal already, things are not changing.
Daniel Podence gave the club the lead against Leeds on the opening day, but a 2-1 victory for the Whites and a 0-0 draw with Fulham a week later puts them on one point after three games.
Lage’s side also narrowly lost to Tottenham Hotspur in 1-0 defeat away from home.
As for Newcastle, they've been on the rise over the past seven months with the new investment, and this has been reflected on the pitch so far. They kicked things off with a 2-0 win over newbies Nottingham Forest, as Fabian Schar scored a stunning goal, before Callum Wilson netted the second.
A 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion away from home was a commendable one given the form of the Seagulls, but in drawing 3-3 with the champions Manchester City, Eddie Howe's side are living it up right now way up in sixth.
Kieran Trippier’s sensational free kick and another goal from Wilson looked to be enough to get Newcastle all three points that day, but a late rally from City ensured a 3-3 finish as the points were shared.
Wolves are still looking good defensively this season. However, Newcastle are looking better each week, and Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
