Fifth meets seventh in the Veikkausliiga this weekend with Haka and Inter Turku set to meet as we hit the midway point in the top division in Finland where only goals difference is separating many of the teams in the middle of the table.
As of now, both sides are only 18 points heading into this one, but with the torrid defensive form of Haka and the very impressive goalscoring output of Inter Turku, there are now 10 goals between the two in the goals difference margin that separates these two sides with Inter Turku in fifth and Haka down in seventh.

There's still a long way to go, however, but this difference in positions in the Veikkausliiga is also the difference between the two sides entering the Championship round and the Relegation round in Finland over the coming weeks. It does now make this game one of the biggest in the top flight for either side to date.
As mentioned, Inter Turku are in sensational goalscoring form with them now having netted 25 goals across the league, which only eight-placed VPS can better, while this is alo a goal more than the high-flying league leaders, KuPS.
On the other hand, this great goalscoring form has clearly come at a price, with them also letting in 18 goals from 13 fixtures, but this is still behind the 22 Haka have let in by this point.
What's more, it does also mean over 2.5 goals has been a regular feature involving these two this campaign.
This excellent goalscoring form cannot eradicate the fact that Inter Turku are in terrible form right now. They lost their Europa Conference League two-legged affair 3-1 after losing 3-0 to Drita away from home last time out, and with a 2-1 loss to FC Lahti in the league and a penalties win over HJK in the Suomen Cup, they’ve barely won a game in the past month.
On the other hand, Haka managed to beat HIFK 2-0 in their recent clash, and although this win was greatly expected, it was still a promising result after drawing their past two games prior to that result.
What's more, they did also beat Mariehamn and Akatemia before this, so despite sitting seventh in the league, Haka are on an unbeaten run of seven games.
There is not much separating these two sides, although the form weighs heavier for Haka. Forebet predict a draw and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
