Gameweek six is upon us in the Argentine Primera Division as Barracas Central welcome San Lorenzo to Buenos Aires with the two looking to improve on poor starts to the new season with only one victory spread across the two clubs.

It is the first season back in the Argentine Primera Division for Barracas Central after many years in the divisions below. Despite the elation in finally making it back to the big time, it’s been a rotten start back to life here, and they are currently winless from their first five games in the first tier of Argentinian football.

In fact, the only aspect keeping Barracas from sitting bottom of the table is their draws and better goals difference on bottom-placed Aldosivi. Barracas may not have won a game, but with three draws and two defeats, at the very least, they've only felt the pain of a loss twice from five games.

What’s more, with their record of eight goals conceded and only five scored, it could be much worse for the home side here. Nevertheless, without the taste of victory so far in the league, Alfredo Berti's men are not the favourites here against a San Lorenzo team rapidly on the rise after a poor first couple of games.

Barracas did get a draw with Banfield last time out too, but even then, they had one shot on target, saw just 32% of the ball, while also conceding a stunning 23 shots to the opposition in the game as well.

Just prior to this, the club played hosts to Boca Juniors in the Argentine Primera Division, but a 3-1 loss setn them further down the table with Neri Bandiera scoring for Barracas.

Dylan Glaby was sent off that day too, and he remains out for this game as well. As was the case in the game with Banfield too, Barracas were destroyed on the stats board with only 21% of the ball.

San Lorenzo, however, can hold their heads much higher heading into this one, with them not losing a game to this point in the league. It does leave them on the same amount of losses as the league leaders, Newell's Old Boys, but with four draws and one win, they sit down in ninth with some work to do early on.

Forebet predicts a 1-1 draw here, with San Lorenzo accustomed to doing so right now. Forebet also expects the game to see under 2.5 goals.
