Odd will be looking to build upon their recent 1-0 win away from home at Valerenga in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Saturday when they play host to high-fliers, Bodo/Glimt, when they return to the home surroundings of their Skagerak Arena.

Recent results overall though have been fairly disappointing for Odd despite picking up wins against Jerv and HamKam in previous matches as they have also slipped to six defeats out of their last nine matches overall in the domestic top flight.

Interestingly, each of Odd’s recent three victories have all been collected whilst on their travels.

But results at home have suffered as the hosts have experienced something of an alarming decline in form on home soil.

Losses to Aalesund, Haugesund, Sandefjord and Molde have helped contribute to Odd sliding down the Eliteserien table to 10th place and they now find themselves four points adrift of their Saturday’s visitors, Bodo/Glimt.

The bigger picture shows Odd have recorded just three home wins from their last 14 matches at their Skagerak Arena.

Onto Bodo/Glimt and the visitors currently sit in 5th place thanks to winning their last two league matches on the trot by way of wins against Kristiansund (away) and Aalesund (home), both by 2-0 margins.

Indeed, Bodo/Glimt have produced a far more solid campaign to date in the Norwegian top flight as the visitors have suffered just the two defeats in their opening 11 matches played so far this season.

So they will be backing themselves to produce another favourable result at Odd this Saturday.

The bigger picture paints an even rosier outlook for Bodo/Glimt as the away side have lost just two of their last 29 matches overall, picking up 16 wins in the process while results away from home have also produced a similar return.

Bodo/Glimt have lost just two of their last 15 outings on the road which were at Viking and Molde but they have also captured nine wins as well as keeping six clean sheets in the process.

And this sort of form suggests that Bodo/Glimt stand a very good chance of walking away with something from this clash at the Skagerak Arena as the visitors look to close in on the top three clubs.
