Sunday evening features further action from the Norwegian top flight and an Eliteserien clash between league leaders, Lillestrom, and their 6th placed visitors, Rosenborg, when the two teams face off at the Åråsen Stadion with a valuable three points up for grabs for both sides.
Lillestrom deservedly sit top of the Norwegian top flight as the hosts still remain unbeaten so far in this season’s campaign, winning seven and drawing three of their 10 matches played to date, and indeed, the bigger picture shows that the hosts are unbeaten in their previous 13 matches overall.

Form and results on home soil at their Åråsen Stadion have also been impressive as Lillestrom have won each of their last seven games on the trot and just as impressive, the hosts have kept a total of six clean sheets within this period as well.
With 16 goals netted at the business end, Lillestrom will be feeling confident about their chances of extending this winning streak on Sunday but they may face sterner competition in the face of Rosenborg here this Sunday.
Rosenborg registered a comprehensive 4-0 rout over Valerenga away from home last time out in the Eliteserien which will serve as a welcome and timely boost ahead of Sunday evening’s encounter with Lillestrom.
Indeed, Rosenborg have enjoyed a solid and steady start to the new Norwegian top flight season as the visitors have suffered just the single defeat to date in this campaign along with picking up three wins and being involved in no fewer than five draws in their nine matches to date.
Rosenborg have made themselves a tough unit to beat in the domestic top flight as they’ve lost just once in their previous 12 games overall, and although wins on the road have been harder to come by, Rosenborg have lost just twice in their last nine outings on the road.
Victory at Stabaek towards the end of last season has been complemented by the aforementioned win at Valerenga which has helped Rosenborg up into 6th place along with picking up points in draws at Bodo/Glimt, Sarpsborg and Ham Kam, so the draw may be worth keeping onside here.
Indeed, three out of the last five meetings between these two clubs have ended in draws and this Sunday may see this trend continuing.
