The Argentine Primera Division action continues this week, with Barracas Central hosting Union de Santa Fe at the Claudio Dabian Tapia Stadium on Wednesday.

Barracas Central have claimed two wins so far, while Union have registered one draw and one loss. Needless to say, they will both be eager to claim all three points on Wednesday.
Barracas kicked off their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Central Cordoba de Santiago del Estero before recording a 1-1 draw with Club Atletico Tigre.
Thanks to back-to-back victories over Godoy Cruz and Acassuso back in May, Barracas head into Wednesday’s clash on a four-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
When you look at the bigger picture, Barracas Central have lost just one of their last seven outings – picking up three wins and three draws along the way.
Having finished one point outside of the top four in Group B during the first phase of the season, Barracas are in a good place right now.
On the flip side, Union de Santa Fe were beaten 2-1 by Tigre in their opening game of the campaign before drawing 2-2 with Club Atletico Colon last time out.

Union de Santa Fe have managed to win just one of their last five games across all competitions, recording two draws and two losses in the process.

Head-to-head: Barracas Central and Union de Santa Fe have faced each other on just one occasion over the years, with Barracas beating Union 1-0 back in 2019.
Team news: With no fresh injury or suspension worries, Barracas head coach Alfredo Berti has a full-strength squad to choose from.
As for Union de Santa Fe, they will be without the suspended Juan Portillo after he picked up a red card last time out.
While Barracas have lost just one of their last seven outings in all competitions, Union have only managed to win two of their previous 11.
