Belarus will take on Kazakhstan this Friday night as they aim to get their first win in the Nations League this campaign just as the away side look to stay top of the group following two fantastic results early on which have now put them as the group favourites.

Slovakia started out as the clear favourites to win this Nations League League C Group 3 division, with them coming into each international break with more well-known players at the top level compared to that of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.

On the other hand, Slovakia have struggled quite a bit so far, and Kazakhstan have now moved to the group favourites with them now beating Milan Skriniar and co. last time out to move top of the table.

Kazakhstan were comfortable 1-0 winners against Slovakia that Sunday, as Aslan Darabayev scored the game's only goal to ensure three vital points away from home for his nation.

The Hawks also managed to comfortably beat Azerbaijan on the opening day of Nations League action in this group, as Abat Aimbetov netted a brace inside seven minutes of each other with Kazakhstan now sitting with six points from six available.

Magomed Adiyev's men haven't even conceded a single goal so far and sit comfortably at the top of the table when it looked as if they’d battle for second at best.

On the other hand, Belarus have not scored a goal in this Nations League as of yet and have actually only registered two shots on target from two games.

Belarus fell to a defeat to Slovakia on home soil on gameweek one, as the Dinamo Stadium also welcomed Azerbaijan for the second game of this group, where a torrid, lacklustre 0-0 clash would force Belarus into third and only ahead of Azerbaijan by the mere goal in the goals difference tally.

Belarus have been solid defensively, and they now need to capture the form they showed in the March internationals as they thumped India 3-0, before beating Bahrain 1-0.

Forebet predicts a win here for Belarus as the home faithful look to get behind their nation and register their first win of the campaign that would blow this division wide open.

Ironically enough, Belarus actually beat Kazakhstan in the Nations League in 2020 in this exact same fixture, as they won 2-0 at home, while also winning 2-1 away from the Dinamo Stadium.

Forebet now predicts the game to see under 2.5 goals with them winning again.
