Rennes go into the final day of the Ligue 1 season in fifth place. The Red and Black are just three points off of Champions League qualification for next season.
A loss for either Monaco or Marseille and win for Rennes would see the Red and Black move into the top three thanks to a better goal difference.

Lilles won Ligue 1 in 2020-21. However, the loss of manager Christophe Galtier and a select number of key players have hurt Les Dogues this season. Lille are 10th in the division and could rise as high as ninth to finish the campaign. They cannot finish any lower than 10th on Sunday.
Les Dogues have not been in good form of late. They took just six points from the last 18 points available to them this season.
Lille were outscored 10-7 in the last six games. Les Dogues shocked form manager Galtier and Champions League qualification chasing Nice with a 3-1 win last time out.
Rennes picked up nine points from the last 18 points on offer in the division. Three of their last four games in the top flight finished as wins. The Red and Black outscored their last six opponents 13-7.
Despite being in better form, Rennes have not played well against Lille in their last six encounters. Lille have a record of 3W-2D-1L in the last six games with Rennes. The last five matches in all competitions between these teams finished without a defeat for Les Dogues.
Lille are not in good form now, however. They have nothing to play for, while Rennes have Champions League qualification to obtain.
Not only are Rennes chasing the top three, but they are attempting to hold off Strasbourg and Nice.
Strasbourg and Nice are in the running for fourth place and qualification for the Europa League. Rennes cannot afford to drop points to a Lille team desperate for the season to end.
Lille won just one of their last five home games. Last time out at home, Les Dogues fell 2-1 to Monaco. Rennes may have a poor head-to-head record with Lille, but they should pick up a win away to potentially clinch Champions League football for next season.
Rennes will overcome their poor form against Lille with a 2-0 victory away to Lille. Les Dogues have nothing to play for, while Rennes have everything to achieve. The Red and Black will get the win they seek.
