Las Palmas are eighth in the Segunda heading into a massive clash with Malaga on Friday night. La Union are five points behind sixth-place Real Oviedo in the chase for the final promotion playoff place.
Malaga will visit Las Palmas on Friday night in desperate need of a win over their own. Los Albicelestes are 18th in the division and seven points ahead of the relegation places.

Malaga are in abysmal form going into the game and are facing potential relegation.
Las Palmas are in excellent form. They picked up 14 points from the last 18 points on offer in the league.
La Union went unbeaten in the last six league games with each of the last two matches finishing as draws. Las Palmas scored 11 times and conceded six goals in the last six matches.
Malaga, on the other hand, picked up just four points from the last 18 points available to them. Last time out, Los Albicelestes were beaten at home by promotion chasing Eibar. Malaga were outscored 9-6 in their last six matches in the division.
La Union won their last two matches at home. They have a record 9W-5D-4L with a goal difference of +8 at the Estadio Gran Canaria this season.
Las Palmas are led in goals by ex-Paris Saint-Germain player Jese. The Spanish forward has 10 goals in 35 appearances for La Union.
Malaga have an away record of 3W-5D-10L this season in La Liga 2. They did pick up a 3-0 win against Leganes last time out away from home.
However, Malaga’s form away from home this season has been abysmal. They have scored 15 goals on the road while conceding 30 times.
