On the flip side, the Foxes find themselves tenth – ten points outside the European places and 16 points behind Spurs.
Tottenham’s inconsistent run under Antonio Conte continued last weekend as they were held to a goalless draw by Brentford.
Between mid-February and early April, Spurs picked up seven wins in nine Premier League outings – suffering only two defeats along the way.
But having lost to Brighton & Hove Albion the weekend before last, they head into Sunday’s clash on a two-game winless run.
Not only have Tottenham failed to win their past two games, but they have also failed to score in back-to-back outings.
If they carry on the way they’re going, Conte’s men could find themselves playing Europa Conference League football for the second season running.
As for Leicester, they also registered a goalless draw last time out. Despite enjoying 65% possession, they failed to claim all three points against Aston Villa.
Not only have the Foxes draw each of their last two league games, but they have also drawn three of their previous five.
On a brighter note, Brendan Rodgers’ side have only lost one of their past six Premier League encounters.
When you look at the bigger picture, they have suffered two defeats in their last nine league outings – picking up four wins and three draws in the process.
Head-to-head: Tottenham have won three of their last four Premier League meetings with Leicester, scoring over 2.5 goals in each of those victories.
It is also worth pointing out that Spurs have won seven of their previous ten Premier League matches against the Foxes.
Team news: Tottenham look set to be without the injured trio of Oliver Skipp, Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga for the rest of the season.
Leicester also have three players sidelined through injury – Boubakary Soumare, Ryan Bertrand and Wilfred Ndidi.
Regardless of Leicester’s recent upturn, Spurs are expected to flex their muscles and claim all three points on Sunday.
Forebet predicts that Tottenham will score over 2.5 goals on their way to seeing off the Foxes.
