Barcelona will welcome Cadiz to Camp Nou on Monday night in La Liga. The Catalan club are second in La Liga’s table heading into matchday 32.
Twelve points separate the Blaugrana from first-place Real Madrid in the La Liga title race. Barcelona have a game in hand over Real Madrid. Despite having plenty of points left to play for, it is unlikely that Barcelona will pick enough points to win the La Liga title.

Cadiz are battling against the La Liga drop. Cadiz could be as far as four points from safety by the time they kick off on Monday night depending on results on Saturday and Sunday. The Yellow Submarine are just one point off of 17th-place Mallorca in the race for safety.
Barcelona are on a great run of form with 15 straight La Liga matches ending without defeat. The Blaugrana have not lost a match in La Liga since December 4. Real Betis were the last team to win against Barcelona.
Cadiz have had success versus Barcelona in recent seasons. The Yellow Submarine are unbeaten in three consecutive matches against Barcelona with one win and two draws.
Xavi’s Barcelona picked up 18 points from the last 18 points on offer in La Liga. They tallied 18 goals and allowed three scores across the last six matches in La Liga. Barcelona have a home record of 10W-2D-2L with 32 scores for and 13 goals against.
Cadiz are in pretty good form heading into the Monday night match. The Yellow Submarine picked up eight points from the last 18 points available. Although Cadiz are battling relegation, they are in good form going to Barcelona.
These teams drew the previous fixture, but the game was played at the beginning of the season. Barcelona were under the management of Ronald Koeman at the time. This is a much different Barcelona team to the one Cadiz played earlier.
Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo is suspended for the fixture. Centre-back Samuel Umtiti is a doubt to play due to a foot injury. Midfielder Sergi Roberto has a tendon injury as does defender Moussa Wague. Both are doubts to make the team for the game.
Cadiz manager Sergio has three players on the injury list. Carcelen Valencia is unlikely to play after suffering a muscle injury. Varazdat Haroyan has a shoulder issue and Florin Andone has a knock. Both players could make the squad.
Barcelona are in great La Liga form and should have no issue defeating Cadiz this weekend. Despite Cadiz’s good recent head-to-head record against Barcelona, the Catalans should post a 2-0 win.
