On Thursday night, it’s all to play for as PSV Eindhoven host Leicester City in the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final tie.
The two sides played out a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium last week. It is worth noting, however, that Leicester dominated proceedings on home soil.

Not only did the Foxes enjoy 59% possession, but they also chalked up ten shots. On the flip side, PSV managed just a single attempt on target and struggled to hold onto the ball.
That said, PSV returned to winning ways on Sunday. They claimed a dominant 2-0 victory over RKC Waalwijk, thanks to goals from Joey Veerman and Jordan Teze.
PSV extended their unbeaten streak in the Eredivisie to eight games in the process, having secured seven wins and one draw since their last league loss.
As a result, they find themselves second in the Dutch top flight – four points behind Ajax – after winning 22 of their 29 Eredivisie matches this term.
Earlier in the campaign, PSV were eliminated from the Europa League. Since then, they have claimed two wins and three draws in the Conference League.
Meanwhile, Leicester beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at the weekend – meaning they have lost just one of their previous six Premier League games.
The Foxes find themselves ninth in the English top flight – 11 points outside the top six – although they have multiple games in hand over every other side.
Like PSV, Leicester started the season in the Europa League but finished third in their group behind Spartak Moscow and Napoli.
Since dropping into the Conference League, Brendan Rodgers’ side have registered three wins, one draw and one loss. Can they add another win to their tally on Thursday?
Head-to-head: PSV and Leicester met for the very first time last week, meaning neither team has the upper hand in the H2H stats.
Team news: PSV are expected to be without the injured pair of Ryan Thomas and Phillipp Mwene for the second leg.
As for Leicester, they currently have Wilfred Ndidi, Jamie Vardy, Ryan Bertrand and Danny Ward sidelined through injury.
Although Leicester dominated the first leg, PSV are expected to put up more of a fight on home soil. For that reason, we could see another close game on Thursday.
Forebet predicts that PSV and Leicester will dish up a low-scoring draw inside 90 minutes, forcing the game into extra-time.
