Monday evening features action from the top of the French National League when 4th placed Bourg-Peronnas play host to the National League leaders, Stade Laval, at the Stade Marcel-Verchère with both teams looking to further their respective promotion ambitions to Ligue 2.
Bourg-Peronnas returned to winning ways last time out in the French third tier when they registered a welcome 2-0 win away from home at Sedan which ended a worrying three-match run without a win.

But the bigger picture does indicate that the hosts have struggled to attain consistent results in their bid for promotion.
With just four wins out of their last 12 league matches overall, the prospects of a straight home win for Bourg-Peronnas against the league leaders does seem to hang in the balance somewhat, while the prospect of goals equally look fairly slim.

Six of these last 11 away games have also resulted in under 2.5 goals being scored so if the goals market is the preferred option, it may be prudent to stay on the lower side of the goals margins for this top of the table encounter.
