Premier league draw kings, Brighton and Burnley, will meet on Saturday at the Amex Stadium. Brighton have drawn the most matches in the Premier League this season with 12 of 24 games finishing as stalemates.

Burnley have drawn 11 of their 21 fixtures. The Clarets are bottom of the Premier League table going into the weekend and seven points off of safety. Burnley do have two to three games in hand over their relegation rivals.

Sean Dyche’s team needs to pick up points desperately, but wins are needed and not draws. Burnley’s inability to turn draws into wins is the reason they sit 20th at the moment. The Clarets’ Premier League record is a miserable 1W-11D-9L.

Brighton head into the game fresh off of a Premier League loss to Manchester United, 2-0. The loss ended a streak of seven Premier League games without a defeat. Brighton took nine of their last 18 points in the league. They scored just eight goals and conceded seven times.

Burnley took three points, all from draws, from the last 18 points available in the division. Dyche’s team scored a mere three goals across those six games.

Brighton are unbeaten in five straight league games against Burnley. Two of those five matches ended as wins for the Seagulls.

In the reverse fixture, Brighton claimed a 2-1 come from behind win at Turf Moor.

Burnley’s James Tarkowski opened the scoring on two minutes. In the 73rd minute, Brighton finally got a goal as Neal Maupay levelled the game before Alexis Mac Allister scored with 12 minutes left on the clock.

Brighton’s last two wins against Burnley both came courtesy of 2-1 scorelines. The Seagulls have scored nine of their 33 goals in all competitions in the final 15 minutes of matches. This is a team that cannot be written off in matches.

Manager Graham Potter will be without the trio of Enock Mwepu and Jeremy Sarmiento due to injury. Lewis Dunk is suspended. Mac Allister looks likely to come back in the side after being listed as injured.

Dyche will be without midfielder Matej Vydra due to a groin injury. Charlie Taylor and Johann Berg Gudmundsson are both major doubts to play. Wout Weghorst, who was a significant signing in January, is likely to return following a groin issue.

Brighton are unbeaten in five straight games against Burnley. Two of those matches, including the reverse fixture this season, ended in 2-1 wins. The Seagulls have drawn the most games in the league this season and a score stalemate is a likely outcome on Saturday versus Burnley.
