On Tuesday night, Aberdeen host St. Johnstone at the Pittodrie Stadium, as two of the SPL strugglers meet in what could be a big game at the wrong end of the table.
Aberdeen have been on a terrible run of form in the Scottish top-flight and currently sit ninth-place in the table. Despite their recent poor form, the Dons are still ten points clear of St. Johnstone, who are currently bottom of the SPL table.

The Reds are winless in five games in all competitions following a 2-1 defeat at Motherwell in the Scottish Cup last time out.
Out of the five games in the bad run, the home team has claimed just one draw.
Aberdeen have a mixed recent home record in the SPL, as they have won just three of their previous six league outings at Pittodrie. However, they have faced the league’s big two Celtic and Rangers in their last two home games in the Scottish top-flight.
St. Johnstone are bottom of the SPL table and may well be playing their football in the Scottish second tier next season.
All hope is not yet lost for the visitors though, as they are just two points adrift of 11th place Dundee. A win in this clash could be massive for Callum Davidson’s team.
However, wins have been in short supply for the Saints of late in the SPL. The visitors have won just one of their previous 13 games in the Scottish top-flight.
A short three-game unbeaten run in the league ended last time out when the visitors suffered a 2-1 defeat at St. Mirren.
Unsurprisingly, St. Johnstone’s recent away form has been poor in the SPL, as they have lost seven of their last nine league games on their travels.
Forebet predicts that Aberdeen will end their recent poor run of form by recording a victory in a high-scoring encounter, only to deepen St. Johnstone’s relegation worries.
