Next up is a bottom half clash in the French Ligue 1 between Reims and Bordeaux when they meet at the Stade Auguste-Delaune II with both teams searching for a valuable three points to boost their respective ailing fortunes.
Reims currently occupy 14th place in the Ligue 1 standings and having been involved in a number of inconsistent performances, it’s perhaps no surprise that the hosts find themselves in the bottom half of the division.

The hosts have failed to win any of their last four games overall, drawing with Marseille and Clermont but also falling foul of defeats at the hands of Metz and PSG, while the bigger picture shows that Reims have captured just three league wins out of their last 14 matches overall.
However, despite their inconsistent streak, Reims will still feel confident about their chances this Sunday as they’ve recorded three wins at home this season and have picked up points in three draws as well.
Reims will be missing Doumbia, Konan and Toure on international duty while Berisha, Munetsi and Zeneli will be absent through injuries.
Bordeaux registered a desperately needed three points last time out in Ligue 1 when they recorded a 4-3 home win over Strasbourg which put an end to a previously worrying spell of three defeats on the trot.
Defeats to Lille, Marseille and Rennes were bad enough but to have also conceded a total of 10 goals across these three losses were equally as bad and although they bounced back with a win last time out, Bordeaux still continue to hover just above the relegation zone in Ligue 1.
The bigger picture shows Bordeaux have claimed just two wins out of their last 10 matches whilst also losing six of these games as well, so the visitors may be happy to settle for a point here as form away from home has also been poor.
Bordeaux have won just twice on their travels throughout this whole Ligue 1 campaign which were achieved at fellow strugglers, St Etienne and Troyes, while also drawing four and losing four on the road this term to date.
With just three wins out of their last 15 away games, Bordeaux may consider a draw to be a favourable result especially as the visitors have beaten Reims just twice in their previous 14 meetings.
