Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City will clash at the The Nottingham Forest Football Club stadium this weekend in what is set to be a close encounter with the two in very contrasting periods of form ahead of this clash.
For Cardiff, it’s been a season of horror that has also witnessed them go through a variety of managers, with them now sitting with Steve Morison who has been just as poor as others since his official appointment in October.

Morison has only won four times in the 13 games he has been in the dugout for the Dragons, and the other results have seen him win three and lose six, which equals to a win rate of just 30.77%.
To make matters worse for the South Wales side, it's now been two months since they last tasted victory in the Championship as the club beat Luton Town back in November and have since gone on to lose four games and draw twice.
On the other hand, it still keeps them above the drop zone and in reality, there will be many fears of slipping into the drop zone.
As of now, the gap is just three points on the bottom three, but with Peterborough not picking up that many points either and Reading continuing to look really poor, for now, Cardiff are going to be safe. However, points are proving very tough to come by.
Forest, on the other hand, are in exceptional form. The club have seriously turned things around since the arrival of in September and they now have won 12 games under the former Swansea City manager, lost only three times, and drawn the other six.
At the same time, Forest are currently on a four-game winning streak since losing to Huddersfield Town back in December, which even included a win over the high-flying Arsenal in the FA Cup.
They also edged past Millwall and Derby County back in the Premier League, while they smashed Barnsley 3-0.
It now leaves Cooper’s men up in seventh and just a point off the play-offs and even three now off Bournemouth in third to cap off what has been a fantastic turnaround for the Nottingham club.
Forest are expected to win here, and Forebet predicts they will do so once more as their form just looks too good to look past right now.
Forebet predicts a win for the away side and for the game to see under 2.5 goals, with Cardiff at the very least not conceding that many at home.
