The Scottish Premiership action continues on Saturday with this afternoon clash between Hearts and Motherwell at Tynecastle with Hearts looking to bounce back from their midweek defeat at home to Celtic this weekend.
Hearts were handed a 2-1 loss at home by Celtic on Wednesday night but the hosts will still feel confident about their chances of returning to winning ways this weekend having previously strung together a three-match winning streak in the Scottish top flight.

Hearts had previously recorded victories over Dundee 1-0, Ross County 2-1 and St Johnstone 2-0 which has helped The Jambos up into 3rd place on the Scottish Premiership ladder and they also hold a significant seven-point cushion over Saturday’s visitors, Motherwell, too.
The bigger picture shows that Hearts have lost just five out of their last 22 matches in the Premiership, only two of which have been inflicted upon them on home soil; at home this season, Hearts have lost just twice and have picked up seven wins, one of which was a 2-0 victory over Motherwell.
Motherwell sit in 4th spot in the Scottish Premiership but find themselves seven points off the pace of that of their hosts, Hearts, prior to this upcoming trip to Tynecastle on Saturday afternoon.
Motherwell had to settle for a point in midweek when they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Hibernian while recent results overall have produced a mixed bag of returns for the visitors.
‘Well have registered just two wins out of their last six games overall in the domestic top flight which came in the shape of wins against St Johnstone and Livingston but it’s worth noting that both of these victories were achieved on home soil at Fir Park.
They’ve also suffered two losses within this six-match period, both of which were away from home with defeats incurred at Celtic 1-0 and a heavy 3-1 loss at third from bottom outfit, Ross County.
With just one away win from their last eight outings on the road, Motherwell look to be up against it here at Tynecastle.
Hearts have lost just two of their last 14 games at home in the Premiership and look set to add to their points tally against Motherwell this Saturday.
