Next up is a lower half La Liga battle between Celta Vigo and Osasuna at the Abanca-Balaídos on Wednesday night with both teams keen to put further daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
Celta Vigo currently sit in 14th place on the La Liga ladder thanks to a 1-0 loss away from home at Real Sociedad last time out in the Spanish top flight but the hosts had previously registered back-to-back wins against Espanyol and Real Betis which has kept the hosts at arms length away from the bottom three for the time being.

Celta Vigo have lost just two of their last nine games overall which includes a previous 2-1 loss at home to Valencia while four draws and three wins make up the remainder of their last nine results.
Form and results on home turf though at their Abanca-Balaídos have been pretty poor on the part of Celta Vigo as the hosts have managed to pick up just two wins out of their last 11 matches in the league on home soil.
Osasuna sit mid-table in a 12th place position prior to this upcoming trip away at Celta Vigo but they head into this encounter on the back of a welcome 2-0 home win over La Liga strugglers, Cadiz.
Osasuna had previously struggled for results though as the visitors had failed to win any of their preceding 10 matches overall in the domestic top flight, losing five and drawing five with three of these five losses being on their travels.
The visitors had made a fantastic start on the road to their La Liga campaign as Osasuna had won their opening four games on the road on the trot with victories collected away at Cadiz, Alaves, Mallorca and Villarreal.
However, subsequent results on the road have failed to live up to that early momentum as Osasuna are without an away win from their last five outings, drawing twice and losing on three occasions.
Osasuna do possess a reasonable looking head-to-head record against Wednesday night’s hosts, Celta Vigo, though as they have lost just once in their previous five meetings and they’ve done enough to suggest that they could at least keep the scores close in this upcoming tussle with a possible draw on the cards.
