On the flip side, the Eagles find themselves eleventh – six points behind Spurs – having taken four points from their previous two games.
Tottenham held Liverpool to a 2-2 draw last weekend, with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min grabbing the goals.
Antonio Conte’s men dominated large spells of the game. They managed to racked up ten shots against the title challengers, five of which were on target.
Spurs extend their unbeaten streak in the Premier League to five games with last weekend’s draw. They have picked up three wins and two draws in that time.
If Tottenham want to challenge for a European spot, however, they will need to start finding the back of the net more often.
Only five teams have scored fewer Premier League goals than Spurs this season – and four of those teams are in the bottom eight.
When Crystal Palace recorded three straight losses to Aston Villa, Leeds United and Manchester United, things looked bleak.
But the Eagles have turned things around in recent weeks, beating Everton 3-1 before drawing 2-2 with Southampton last time out.
When you look at the bigger picture, only four teams have suffered fewer Premier League defeats than Crystal Palace this term.
Although the Eagles have registered a league-high eight draws, they are heading in the right direction under Patrick Vieira’s watch.
Head-to-head: In the reverse fixture, Crystal Palace claimed a 3-0 victory over Tottenham back in September.
However, the Eagles have only managed to win one of their last six league meetings with Spurs – recording two draws and three losses along the way.
Team news: Tottenham are set to be without the injured duo of Cristian Romero and Ryan Sessegnon on Boxing Day.
As for Palace, Nathan Ferguson is still ruled out through injury. There are also question marks over the fitness of James McArthur.
Although the Eagles are enjoying something of a revival under Vieira, Conte’s Tottenham should be too strong for Palace.
With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Spurs will beat Crystal Palace on Sunday – keeping a clean sheet in the process.
