This is the second meeting of the season between Rangers and Dundee United. The first ended in a shock 1-0 win for Dundee United thanks to a Jamie Robson second half goal.
Rangers’ defeat to Dundee United came during a stretch of three straight matches in all competitions that ended in losses. The defeat was sandwiched between Champions League qualification losses to Malmo as Gerrard’s Rangers crashed out of the competition.
The Blues took 18 points from a possible 18 points available over the course of their last six matches. Rangers only conceded three goals across those six games while scoring 15 goals. Each of Rangers’ last four league matches ended as wins to nil.
Dundee United are at the bottom of the current Scottish Premiership form table. They took just four points from the last 18 points on offer. Each of Dundee United’s last three matches ended in defeat.

Dundee United manager Thomas Courts has two players on the injury list ahead of the match on Saturday. Defender Liam Smith has a knee injury that could keep him out of action.
Forward Marc McNulty is ruled out of the match with a hamstring problem. Courts will also be without midfielder Calum Butcher due to a red card suspension.
Van Bronckhorst is likely to be without up to five players. Kemar Roofe, Ryan Jack, Leon Balogun, Nnamdi Ofoborth, and Filip Helander are all suffering from various injuries and set to miss the match.
Rangers may have lost 1-0 to Dundee United in the previous fixture, but the Glasgow club is on a run of 15 matches without a loss.
