Liverpool will be hoping to get back on track when they welcome in-form Arsenal to Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered their first defeat of the season before the international break. As a result, they sit fourth in the table – four points behind first-place Chelsea.

As for the Gunners, an impressive ten-game unbeaten streak has seen them climb to fifth – two points behind Liverpool.

The Reds’ 25-match unbeaten streak was finally brought to an end by West Ham United before the international break.

They suffered a 3-2 loss at the London Stadium last time out, enabling the Hammers to leapfrog them in the table.

But let’s not forget that Liverpool are still enjoying a 13-game unbeaten streak at Anfield. On home soil, Klopp’s men invariably avoid defeat.

It is also worth pointing out that Liverpool have scored at least one goal in each of their previous 24 outings across all competitions.

With that in mind, you probably won’t be surprised to learn that Klopp’s side are the highest scorers in the Premier League – having netted 31 goals in 11 games this term.

Meanwhile, the Gunners head into Saturday’s clash on an eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Following three straight wins, Arsenal registered back-to-back draws before chalking up a further three consecutive victories.

Impressively, Mikel Arteta’s side have seen off Norwich, Burnley, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Leicester and Watford since their last defeat.

When you look at the bigger picture, Arsenal have only lost three of their previous 17 away games in all competitions.

For that reason, the Gunners will be confident of frustrating Liverpool and leaving Anfield with something to show for their efforts.

Head-to-head: Liverpool have claimed two wins and two draws in their last four meetings with Arsenal across all competitions.

The Gunners have only managed to win one of their previous 15 encounters with Liverpool, recording seven draws and seven defeats along the way.

Team news: Liverpool have a host of injury doubts at the moment. James Milner, Naby Keita, Joe Gomez, Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, and Andy Robertson could miss out on Saturday.

As for Arsenal, they will be without injured duo Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac this weekend. There are also question marks over the fitness of Thomas Partey.

Although Liverpool’s home record is seriously impressive, it is extremely difficult to ignore the fact that Arsenal head to Anfield on a ten-game unbeaten run.

With that in mind, Forbet predicts that Arsenal will hold Liverpool to draw on Saturday, with both teams scoring over 1.5 goals.
