Osasuna and Real Sociedad will clash with Real Soceidad at the El Sadar stadium this weekend with both clubs tremendously overachieving right now in what is a wild and unpredictable La Liga season.
Currently, in a campaign where they were expected to fight relegation, Osasuna are sat in seventh and can move even further up the table with a win, should other results go their way.

The club are just two points off Real Betis in fifth, but an extraordinary three points ahead of the giants Barcelona.
Jagoba Arrasate’s men have currently scored 14 goals and let in 15 across the La Liga season so far, and with four draws, five wins and just three defeats from 12 games, the Basque outfit are very much deserving of their early season charge towards the top end.
The club did recently lose 2-0 quite convincingly to Sevilla, however, and this did lose them a bit of ground in their early pursuit of landing in a European spot. Nevertheless, a commendable 0-0 draw with Real Madrid came just before this, in what was a relatively decent performance by the home side.
This meant that Osasuna did recently go five games unbeaten, where they managed to secure wins over Mallorca, the impressive Real Vallecano, and Villarreal. They also registered a draw with Granada within this time, but it was the Sevilla defeat that ended a brilliant run for them in Spain.
As for Sociedad, they are perhaps the team of the season so far in La Liga and regardless of this, they remain the league leaders and one of Europe’s surprise title contenders this season with the usual big guns across the continent dominating.
Real Sociedad would lose their top spot if they were to lose this game and Real Madrid beat Vallecano, while Real’s game in hand also means that anything but three points here for Soceidad could mean their title challenge hits a big bump in the road.
Nevertheless, they have lost just once in La Liga this season and managed to take points from Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, while they haven’t lost since losing to Barcelona in September.
Osasuna have been excellent defensively this campaign at times, while despite sitting top, Soceidad have scored just 17 goals in 12 games and it isn’t the most commendable feat for a team leading a division.
With this in mind, Forebet predicts a draw here and a game that will see under 2.5 goals as not much separates them as of now.
