Leeds United welcome Leicester City to Elland Road on Sunday afternoon as both sides aim to improve on indifferent starts to the season.

Leicester find themselves eleventh in the Premier League table – level with tenth-place Everton on 14 points.

On the flip side, Leeds sit seventeenth – three points clear of the relegation zone and four points behind Leicester.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side picked up just their second league win of the season last weekend, beating fellow strugglers Norwich City 2-1 at Carrow Road.

Raphinha put Leeds ahead with his fourth goal of the season before Rodrigo netted the winner four minutes later.

Having drawn four and lost four of their ten Premier League games this term, Leeds are not where they want to be right now.

That said, they can take confidence from the fact that they have only lost two of their previous 12 home games across all competitions.

As for Leicester, they drew 1-1 with Spartak Moscow on Thursday – despite enjoying 77% possession and racking up 13 shots.

The Foxes have lost just one of their previous seven outings across all competitions, picking up four wins and two draws along the way.

In terms of the Premier League, it’s fair to say that Brendan Rodgers’ side have made an indifferent start to the season.

They have claimed four wins, two draws and four losses from their opening ten games and currently have a goal difference of –2.

It is also worth pointing out that both teams have scored in each of Leicester’s past 12 away matches in the Premier League.

Head-to-head: Leeds have only managed to win one of their last six meetings with Leicester in all competitions, with the Foxes winning three of the previous four.

It is also worth pointing out that each of the past three encounters between Leeds and Leicester have produced over 3.5 goals, with both teams scoring in each occasion.

Team news: Injured Leeds trio Robin Koch, Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford remain on the sidelines and will be unavailable for Sunday’s clash.

As for Leicester, they will be without Wesley Fofana, James Justin and Marc Albrighton this weekend. Harvey Barnes, James Maddison, Ayoze Perez and Ricardo Pereira are also doubts.

Regardless of Leeds’ recent run of positive results on home soil, Leicester should have enough firepower to claim all three points on Sunday.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score at Elland Road. However, the Foxes are expected to outscore the hosts.
