On Friday night, Longford Town host St Patricks at Bishopsgate Stadium, as the home team attempts to redeem some respectability from their Irish Premier Division campaign.
With five league games remaining, Longford Town will look to finish their league campaign on a high after suffering relegation to the second tier.

The home team are a massive 25 points behind ninth-place Finn Harps and are doomed to life in the second tier of the Irish game.
Considering their position in the league table, it is of little surprise that Longford head into this clash on the back of four straight defeats. They have the worst defensive record and the most impotent attack in the Irish Premier Division.
Longford have won just one of their last 15 home games in the Irish top-flight, having suffered 11 defeats in the process. They will be hoping to at least put in some decent performances in their remaining top-flight home matches.
St Patricks are second place in the table but are 13 points behind league leaders Shamrock Rovers. With such few games remaining in the league season, it seems unlikely that the team from the capital will catch Rovers this season.
However, the visitors look to have already sealed second place, as Stephen O’Donnell’s team are nine points clear of third-place Sligo Rovers.
St Patricks recent form has been respectable, as the visitors head into this clash on the back of three wins in their last four outings in all competitions.
However, they have lost four and won three of their previous seven league games, a run that looks likely to cost them the league title.
A poor recent away record has done them no favours in the title race either, as the visitors have lost three of their previous four away games in the Irish Premier Division.
However, Forebet predicts that St Patricks will get back to winning ways on their travels by recording a victory in a low-scoring encounter.
