Argentina and Peru will meet in a crucial World Cup Qualifiers group over in South America as both sides look to bid for a ticket to Qatar 2022 with Lionel Scaloni’s men trailing Brazil just as Peru look to break into the top four.
Over in the South American side of things, the top four teams out of the 10 competing for a place at the World Cup will qualify, which leaves the fifth spot in the table advancing into the inter-confederation play-offs, which as of now, seems like Peru’s most likely route to success.
They can still get into the automatic places with six more games remaining after this one, but the likes of Colombia, Ecuador, and Uruguay look too strong for them.
