Leeds United have yet to taste victory in the Premier League this season, with West Ham United visiting Elland Road on Saturday.

The Hammers, on the other hand, have taking eight points from a possible 15 and find themselves eighth in the table as a result.

Having registered three draws and two losses so far, Leeds are down in seventeenth place – five points behind West Ham.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men head into Saturday’s clash on the back of a dramatic penalty-shoutout win over Champions side Fulham in the EFL Cup.

It’s safe to say that Leeds deserved to advance to the next round, having racked up 12 shots and 63% possession at Craven Cottage.

Still, things aren’t going to plan for the Yorkshire club when it comes to the Premier League, as they have only managed to pick up three points from five matches.

Worse still, Leeds have conceded a whopping 12 goals in the Premier League this term – giving them the third-worst defensive record in the division.

When you look at the bigger picture, however, Bielsa’s side have only lost three of their previous 18 games in all competitions.

West Ham, meanwhile, started the season in red-hot form – thrashing Newcastle 4-2 on the opening weekend before crushing Leicester 4-1 on Matchday 2.

They have since failed to win any of their previous three league matches, drawing with Crystal Palace and Southampton before losing to Manchester United last weekend.

Funnily enough, West Ham got their revenge over Man Utd in midweek, as they secured an historic 1-0 victory at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup.

Head-to-head: It is worth remembering that West Ham have only managed to win two of their previous 11 meetings with Leeds in all competitions.

That said, they did the double over Bielsa’s men last term – claiming a 2-1 win at Elland record before winning 2-0 on home soil.

Team news: Leeds defender Pascal Struijk is suspended for Saturday’s clash, while Robin Koch and Diego Llorente are also unavailable through injury.

West Ham centre-back Angelo Ogbonna is injured, although Michail Antonio will return from suspension this weekend.

Not only did West Ham do they double over Leeds last season, but they have also made a much better start to the new campaign.

For that reason, Forebet predicts that West Ham will score over 1.5 goals and keep a clean sheet on their way to seeing off Leeds.
