On Thursday night, Osasuna and Real Betis go head-to-head at the Estadio El Sadar, as both teams look to move up the Spanish top-flight table.
Osasuna have enjoyed a mixed start to their campaign in La Liga and currently sit ninth place in the table. One positive for the home team is that they have suffered just one defeat in their previous five outings in the Spanish top-flight. Last time out, Arrasate’s team recorded a 2-0 win at struggling Alaves.

The result means that the home team have managed to keep clean sheets in three of their last five outings in the Spanish top-flight.
Osasuna have found wins hard to come by of late at El Sadar, as they have failed to win any of their last four La Liga games on home soil. The biggest factor in those poor results has been a lacklustre attack, as they have failed to score in three of their last four home league matches.
Similarly, to their hosts, Real Betis have made an inconsistent start to their campaign in the Spanish top-flight, picking up six points from their five league outings so far this season.
However, Manuel Pellegrini’s team have suffered just one defeat in their previous 16 games in La Liga. That one loss came against Real Madrid, which is an understandable defeat.
The visitors from Seville are unbeaten in their previous seven away games in the Spanish top-flight. However, five of those games have finished in draws. A record of just two wins in the last eight away matches doesn’t sound as impressive.
One major positive for Betis is that they have won six of their last seven meetings with Osasuna in all competitions.
Forebet predicts that this clash will finish in a tight, low-scoring draw, which is not surprising considering the teams seasons so far.
