The English Premier League returns this weekend, with London rivals Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur kicking off the action at Selhurst Park in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Tottenham head into Saturday’s clash as the only Premier League team with a 100% record this season. As a result, they find themselves two points clear at the top of the table.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have yet to win a game under new manager Patrick Vieira. They sit fourteenth – seven points behind Spurs.

The Eagles were beaten 3-0 by Chelsea on the opening day, before holding Brentford to a goalless draw the following weekend.

After losing 1-0 to Watford in the EFL Cup, Vieira’s side came from behind on two occasions to rescue a 2-2 draw with West Ham.

Chelsea loanne Conor Gallagher was the star of the show last time out, bagging a brace against the Hammers. Palace also enjoyed the majority of possession at the London Stadium.

It is worth pointing out, however, that Palace have only managed to win one of their last eight games in all competitions.

If Vieira can’t find his first win as Eagles boss soon, he could find himself looking for a new job sooner than expected.

On the flip side, Tottenham have made an excellent start to life under former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Spurs have won each of their opening three league games 1-0, seeing off Manchester City, Wolves and Watford in the process.

Not only have Nuno’s men taken nine points from a possible nine, but they have also kept three clean sheets along the way.

With star striker Harry Kane now committed to the club for another season, Tottenham will be confident of challenging the best teams in the league this term.

Head-to-head: It is worth pointing out that Spurs are enjoying a 12-game unbeaten run against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Tottenham have also lost just one of their previous 16 league matches against Palace, meaning the Eagles don’t stand much of a chance this weekend.

Team news: Crystal Palace will be without injured trio Nathan Ferguson, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise on Saturday. Luka Milivojevic is expected to be fit, though.

As for Tottenham, Joe Rodon and Cameron Carter-Vickers are both injured, while Tanguy Ndombele appears to have been frozen out.

Palace will be desperate to get going under Vieira, but in-form Tottenham should be too strong for the Eagles.

Forebet predicts that Spurs will claim a fourth straight 1-0 win this weekend, keeping yet another clean sheet on their way to picking up all three points.
