Leicester City have the chance to bounce back from last weekend’s heavy defeat to West Ham when they face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.

After beating Wolves 1-0 on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season, the Foxes were thrashed 4-1 by the Hammers on Monday.

On the flip side, Norwich have lost each of their first two league matches – going down 3-0 to Liverpool before suffering a 5-0 crushing at the hands of Manchester City last time out.

It’s safe to say that Norwich City could not have dreamed of a tougher start to life back in the Premier League.

Having conceded eight goals across their opening two games, it could be another long season for the Canaries.

That said, it is worth pointing out that Norwich have only lost three of their previous 20 home matches in all competitions.

Daniel Farke’s men also secured a giant 6-0 victory over Bournemouth in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, with both Christos Tzolis and Josh Sargent bagging a brace.

Leicester City, on the other hand, kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Wolves – courtesy of a Jamie Vardy strike.

However, Brendan Rodgers’ men were completely outplayed by West Ham last time out. They only managed one shot on target at the London Stadium and also conceded four goals.

On a brighter note, trends show that Leicester have netted at least one goal in each of their last ten league games.

But with both teams scoring in each of the Foxes’ previous eight away matches in the Premier League, they could struggle to keep a clean sheet on Saturday.

Head-to-head: In the 2019/20 season, Norwich were unbeaten against Leicester – picking up a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium before winning 1-0 at Carrow Road.

Still, let’s not forget that Norwich have only managed to win one of their previous five meetings with the Foxes.

Team news: Norwich duo Sam Byram and Przemyslaw Placheta are both on the sidelines at the moment. On-loan Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams could make his debut for the club.

As for Leicester, Jannik Vestergaard is still waiting for his debut following his move from Southampton. Ayoze Perez is suspended for Saturday’s clash after receiving a red card against West Ham.

Although Leicester were well beaten last time out, they have enough quality to bounce back and return to winning ways against struggling Norwich.

It could be a tight game, but Forebet predicts that Leicester will edge out Norwich – scoring over 1.5 goals on their way to victory.
