Saturday evening’s hosts in this upcoming clash in La Liga against Levante, Real Sociedad, will be seeking to make it back-to-back wins when the two teams meet at the Reale Arena following victory for the hosts last weekend.
Real Sociedad registered a 1-0 home win against Rayo Vallecano as the home side bounced back from a previous 4-2 defeat away from home at Barcelona on the opening day of the Spanish top flight season, and they once again hold home advantage this Saturday evening too.

Overall results haven’t been too bad for Real Sociedad in La Liga of late as the hosts have won six of their last nine matches overall and four of these six wins have been recorded at their Reale Arena with victories achieved over Celta Vigo, Elche, Real Valladolid and Rayo Vallecano.
Real Sociedad have made themselves a tough unit to beat at home too as they’ve lost just two of their last 12 matches overall and along with winning their last four home games on the trot, they also beat Levante 1-0 in the last meeting at home, while eight of these 12 games also saw both teams score too.
Levante have picked up two points from their opening two games of this new La Liga season thanks to draws with Cadiz 1-1 away from home and an entertaining 3-3 draw at home with Real Madrid.
However, whilst the latter will have been considered a good result, this nevertheless extended Levante’s winless run in the Spanish top flight to 10 matches overall which also includes five defeats.
Goals seem a likely prospect though for this upcoming clash away at Real Sociedad as seven of Levante’s last 10 matches in La Liga have resulted in both teams scoring and this trend could continue on Saturday evening.
The prospects of an away win here seem unlikely though as Levante have managed to win just three of their last 18 matches on their travels in the domestic top flight but nine of these 18 games have seen both teams hit the back of the net.
In addition, five of the last six meetings between these two clubs have resulted in both of them scoring and this upcoming clash at the Reale Arena may be no exception.
