The 2nd legs of the round of last 16 in the South American Copa Libertadores will be played in midweek and Tuesday night features the clash between Brazil Serie A side, Atletico Mineiro, and Argentinian Primera Division outfit, Boca Juniors, when the two teams meet at the Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto, with the tie nicely poised at 0-0.
Atletico Mineiro earned what could prove to be a vital 0-0 draw in last weeks’ 1st leg at the Estadio Alberto José Armando, which also extended the hosts’ unbeaten run in all competitions to six games overall.

Five wins from these six matches have seen Atletico Mineiro register domestic wins against Atletico GO, Cuiaba, Flamengo, America Mineiro and Corinthians in the Brazilian Serie A.
Indeed, on the home front, Atletico Mineiro have shown some impressive form as the hosts have suffered just the one defeat out of their last 25 matches on home soil in all competitions, along with winning their last three ties on the trot at home in the Copa Libertadores with victories over America de Cali, Cerro Porteno and Deportivo La Guaira.
These two teams last met way back in 1978 with Boca Juniors running out 5-2 winners on aggregate but that result has little bearing upon present day with this tie being a tight affair.
Boca Juniors were held to a second draw on the trot on the weekend in the Argentinian top flight as they shared a point apiece with Union in a 1-1 draw away from home and the Argentinian club will hit the road again for this upcoming 2nd leg Copa Libertadores tie against Atletico Mineiro on Tuesday night.
Recent form seems to have taken a bit of a dip for Boca Juniors who have registered just two wins out of their last nine matches in all competitions, coming in the shape of victories over River Plate and The Strongest, the latter being a 3-0 home win in the final match of Group C where they ended runners-up behind Ecuador side, Barcelona.
Results away from home have been rather poor of late for Boca Juniors as the visitors have lost four of their last five away games in all competitions along with losing four of the last five games on the road in Copa Libertadores ties as well.
Perhaps even more worrying is the fact that Boca Juniors have also failed to score in four of their last five away ties in this competition as well and it looks like the visitors may well have their work cut out to break down an in-form and confident Atletico Mineiro side here on Tuesday night.
