Germany welcome Hungary to Munich’s Allianz Arena on Wednesday, with both sides still in with a chance qualifying for the last 16.
Although Hungary sit bottom of Group F on one point, third-place Portugal and second-place Germany only have three points to their name.

At the top of the group, France have all but secured their place in the knockout phase after picking up four points from their opening two games.
Germany lost 1-0 to France in their tournament opener, despite enjoying 62% possession and notching ten shots.
However, Joachim Low’s men bounced back in style on Saturday – beating Portugal 4-2 thanks to a couple of own goals and strikes from Kai Havertz and Robin Gosens.
Once again, the Germans enjoyed the lion’s share of the ball (58%) and also created the bulk of the goalscoring opportunities (12 shots, seven on target).
It’s fair to say that Germany have enjoyed mixed success in recent times, recording four wins, one draw, and three losses in their last eight outings.
But having dispatched the defending European champions last time out, Low’s side will be confident of seeing off Hungary.
That said, that Hungarians picked up a hugely impressive result of their own on Saturday – holding France to a 1-1 draw.
Despite seeing just 33% possession and facing a barrage of 15 shots, Hungary frustrated the 2018 World Cup champions thanks to Attila Fiola’s first-half goal.
The Hungarians also gave a good account of themselves against Portugal, although they eventually conceded three goals after the 84th minute.
Hungary headed into the European Championship on an 11-match unbeaten streak (seven wins, four draws).
Although they lost to Portugal in their opening Euro 2020 games, they have only lost one of their previous 13 outings in all competitions.
Head-to-head: Germany have only lost two of their previous eight meetings with Hungary (three wins, three draws).
In their most recent encounter, Germany beat Hungary back in 2016 – meaning they have kept four clean sheets in their last six meetings.
Team news: Low didn’t make any changes to his starting XI last time out, so he could be tempted stick with the same line-up on Wednesday.
As for Hungary, Daniel Gazdag has withdrawn from the squad. Roland Salli has recovered from injury and is likely to face the Germans.
Hungary gave an excellent account of themselves against Portugal, but they could struggle to replicate that performance against Germany.
