Both Spain and Poland will go in search of their first Euro 2020 win when they go head-to-head in Seville on Saturday.

Poland find themselves bottom of Group E after losing 2-1 to Slovakia in their opening match of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Spain were held to a goalless draw by Sweden in midweek and sit one point ahead of Poland as a result.

Luis Enrique’s men enjoyed a remarkable 86% possession against Sweden and racked up a whopping 917 passes with a 90% pass accuracy.

However, despite being completely dominated for the entire match, Sweden were able to snatch an unlikely point.

Following Monday’s draw, the Spaniards extended their unbeaten streak to nine games in all competitions (four wins, five draws).

It is also worth pointing out that Spain have only lost three of their previous 38 encounters in all competitions.

Having achieved another shutout in their first match, Enrique’s men head into Saturday’s clash on the back of three straight clean sheets.

Poland saw 58% of the ball against Slovakia and even managed to rack up 17 shots, yet they came away from their opening game with nothing to show for their efforts.

A goal from Karol Linetty saw Poland equalise just after half-time, but Milan Skriniar netted the winner for Slovakia.

Poland have now failed to win any of their previous four games, registering two draws and two defeats in that time.

Looking at the bigger picture, Poland have only managed to win one of their previous eight matches in all competitions (three draws, four losses).

If Poland are to get anything from Saturday’s clash, star striker Robert Lewandowski will need to be at his very best.

Head-to-head: Poland have only managed to win one of their previous ten meetings with Spain, suffering eight defeats in the process (one draw).

Spain are unbeaten in each of their last seven matches against Poland, picking up six wins and one draw in that time.

Team news: Gerard Moreno could start in place of Alvaro Morata after Spain failed to take their chances last time out.

As for Poland, they will be without midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak following his red card against Slovakia in midweek.

On paper, Spain boast a far stronger squad than Poland. However, Enrique’s men clearly lacked a cutting edge in attack against Sweden.

For that reason, Forebet predicts that Poland will frustrate Spain and hold them to a goalless draw on Saturday.
