Stuttgart are fresh off a brilliant 5-2 win over RB Leipzig. The victory ended a two-game losing streak. The Swabians are the league’s third-highest scorers with 43 goals.
Werder Bremen overcame Mainz earlier this season, 4-0. Bremen went unbeaten in their last two games versus Mainz in all competitions. The last three games between these teams all saw over 1.5 goals.
Mainz are 17th in the 18-team league. They failed to win any of their last six games in the division. Moreover, Mainz recorded just one win in their opening 19 games.
Werder Bremen are in fine form ahead of the weekend. They went unbeaten in their last six games, picking up 12 points. Bremen defeated Bayern 1-0 away from home and followed it up with a 3-1 victory over Freiburg in their last two fixtures.
Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim split their last six matches, with three wins apiece. The recent trend between the club has been home team wins. The Hoff claimed a 3-1 home win earlier this season, which ended a three-match winning streak for Wolfsburg in head-to-head matches.
Hoffenheim are winless in their last five games in the Bundesliga. The Blues lost three games and drew two of their last five matches. They conceded the third-most goals in the league with 37.
