Kompany did manage to guide his side to a rare unbeaten run, drawing 2-2 with West Ham United before beating Brentford 2-1 and then drawing with Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It was the first five-game unbeaten run Burnley have been on this Premier League season, but their win over Brentford was just the fourth of the season for them, while the Clarets' defeat away to Everton was the club's 21st from 32 games.
One of the other hand, Burnley managed to avoid a loss in the 1-1 draw with Brighton where Wilson Odobert scored for the Clarets before Simon Adingra grabbed a point for the Seagulls.
As for Brighton, it has been one of their worst seasons in recent times with the club down in 10th.

The last win in the Premier League for De Zerbi’s side was in a 1-0 win at home to Nottingham Forest, but this is just their only win in the Premier League from the past two months.
